The Longest Waiting

It’s a lifetime. No less.
For him, it felt like years. Not months, Not weeks, not days.
He saw so many moons, so many suns.
The flashes lasted longer night after night
Faster and more confusing as time slowly went by.
He felt he lost so much in a blink of an eye
The scars were there to remember him that he forgot something.
He’d wait alone somewhere under the trees.
He didn’t know if someone misses him
He didn’t know if someone remember him.
-
Staring at the sky filled with white dots over the forest,
In the highest point of the highest mountain.
This waiting would no longer bother him.
He learned to fly with the birds from the wilderness,
Just so he would be sure he’d fail the final test.
And in the air he felt the sky holding him like a feather,
The dots shined brightly enough to blind, but he kept his open eyes.
He kept until he could only see white,
But somewhere in the infinite he saw a blur,
Deep inside he knew what it was, deep inside he remembered who it was.
And in a final breath he raised his hand… and no longer felt anything.

The Journey In Three.

The layers and patterns of the forest melt in their eyes
The path had no destiny.
And under the tent where the rain sometimes reached they remained silently numb.
There was no need for words, no need for news.
One once felt this feeling. Lonely and sweet.
The other two could learn by watching him
But always in silence.
And on their smile there was the only sign of life,
But such sign didn’t appear so much
Then every moment was sacred.
They treasured it quickly no to be forgotten
All the memories they had was kept in their mind, unspoken,
And the sorrow of old lives burned in the fire between them.
Their footprints erased by the wind.
Their existence unknown.
This was their world, unshaped, intangible, unpredictable.
No one would never reach them there.
No one would never harm them there.
No one would never take them away.
No one would be needed.
For them was all they needed
All they loved and cherish was in their eyes,
All of their make believe.

Oneirology

Like another world, he steps into.
The heat is intense on this unusual summer day,
Unusual for him, that is.
It’s been so long, but the clock froze and let him lost in time,
Still, he could feel the minutes gone by in his knees,
And he saw the little girl standing by the door.
She says “this is where we collide”.
A million things in his mind, and the clock goes on and on again
Like nothing ever happened.
A call from beyond wakes him up,
“Stay where you are”
All these hallucinations were true?
He can’t deny when reality hits him in the face
A hole in the sky and separate hands,
He flew to his destiny, watching the little girl as he slowly fades away

It’s a dream as it seems.

The rain fell for us

Felt like I could never feel again
Had to clear my eyes to see
Explosions in the air
Washing away in the seas.
All the clouds crashing in the sky and the noise they made
All the flashes of light lead me to dance
Underneath the rain, all the joy in every raindrop
Under a black sky, where the sun can’t shine
On a never ending shadow we dance.
The thirst disappeared and the happiness took place
In wet sand and a brave sea
Singing our own song out of tune
Hidden from the blues, wash away the pain
We would forget the scars and clean our flesh
We would move as far as our eyes could see
As far as our legs could stand
We pray for the rain to last
The sea would rise and swallowed our voices away
Eternity is not enough to get rid of this ache
